DALMAC is organized and staffed by a dozen committee chairs and supporting volunteers of the Tri-County Bicycle Association (TCBA). It is these Volunteers Who Make It All Happen!! Please understand we have some openings every year and we are willing to add more responsibilities toward persons becoming Committee Chairs. We appreciate our volunteers and reward their time spent with registration or merchandise discounts and recognition at our meetings.
The volunteer reward/discount formula is based on 20 hours of work performed in the year, with consecutive years reaching the maximum discount that approximates the full cost of the tour and $180 of merchandise.
Crew personnel also receive full compensation for vehicle expense, meals, and in addition to the full merchandise discount.
There are roles which occur before and after the tour, allowing many volunteers to be able to ride in the tour. It is becoming popular for Crew Personnel to “Ride A Year & Then Work A Year”. Crew persons receive a Free DALMAC Tour in the year following their Crew Service.
